CVS Launches Digital Service for At-Home COVID-19 Tests

In its latest innovation, CVS Health has introduced a new digital service that enables consumers to easily and conveniently access at-home COVID-19 tests. This omnichannel experience allows customers to order tests online and pick them up in-store with no out-of-pocket cost, as CVS submits the claim for reimbursement to their health insurance provider on their behalf.

'We've been working around the clock to ensure that consumers and patients have access to at-home COVID-19 test kits when they visit our stores or shop online,' said Michelle Peluso, CVS Health Chief Customer Officer and Co-President of CVS Pharmacy. This new service is designed to provide a seamless experience for customers, with email and text message notifications keeping them updated on their order status.

Eligible consumers can access the service by visiting CVS.com or downloading the CVS App. They will be able to enter their insurance information during checkout, which CVS Pharmacy will then process with their health insurance provider on their behalf. This eliminates the need for customers to submit a claim themselves and ensures that they receive at-home COVID-19 test kits with zero upfront out-of-pocket cost.

The service is available starting today, allowing consumers to easily locate, order, and pick up at-home COVID-19 test kits from participating CVS Pharmacy locations. With this new digital service, eligible consumers can access critical testing supplies when and where they need them, making it easier than ever to take control of their health during the ongoing pandemic.
